6 June 2007 : Keith Williams Architects wins RIAI 2007 Best House Award

Keith Williams Architects is delighted to have won the prestigious RIAI 2007 Best House Award for the Long House, London.

The judges citation reads “…The planning is sophisticated, with a deep plan flooded with light. The scale of the building is well handled, as is the massing of the forms of the house. It makes a beautiful family home”.

The Irish Architecture Awards are the RIAI’s annual awards and since 1990 have recognised the best of each years’ architecture and the contribution of clients to achieving quality in the built environment.

Keith Williams commented “It is a great honour for me as an RIAI member to have been recognised in this way by the RIAI, for my firm’s work in my home city of London. The award follows our success with the Unicorn Theatre which last year won the RIAI Overseas Award”

Keith Williams was presented with the award at the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland, 8 Merrion Square Dublin.
